Montana State Resources

Montana Department of Public Health & Human Services - Serving Montanans in their communities to improve health, safety, well-being, and empower independence. Offers information, services and assistance to Montana residents and their families regarding mental health, healthcare, assistance programs, etc.

Mental Health America of Montana - Mental Health America of Montana (MHA of MT) is a recognized 501(c) (3) non-profit by the state of Montana and the Federal government. MHA of MT was started in 1948 when a group of Montanans concerned about mental health got together to form an advocacy and education organization. National Resources

988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline - The 988 Lifeline is a national network of local crisis centers that provides free and confidential emotional support to people in suicidal crisis or emotional distress 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in the United States.

SAMHSA Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration - Resources, treatment and education for substance abuse and mental health matters. SAMHSA envisions that people with, affected by, or at risk for mental health and substance use conditions receive care, achieve well-being, and thrive.

National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) Information Resource Center - The National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) is the lead federal agency for research on mental disorders. Provides immediate help, information about mental disorders, and resources for finding a health care provider or treatment.

National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) - The largest grassroots mental health organization in the country, NAMI offers support, education, and awareness through more than 700 state organizations and affiliates.
